» IMC Participates in Youth in Construction Safety Day
IMC Construction was please to participate in the first Youth in Construction Safety Day at our Plymouth Meeting Mall job site. Developed by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Pennsylvania Senators Stewart Greenleaf, Connie Williams and John Rafferty presented OSHA with State Resolution 278, which official recognizes the day and reinforces the state’s commitment to
youth safety in the construction industry.
After the presentation, students from the Eastern Center of Arts and Technology were led on a hard hat tour by a representative from IMC where many of the local unions conducted interactive safety demonstrations. Students were given the opportunity to try their skills at crane simulator provided by the Ironworkers Local 401.
