OVERBROOK PLAZA

Overbrook Plaza Shopping Center, located on Lancaster Avenue in the heart of a West Philadelphia residential neighborhood, was constructed on the former site of a Box Manufacturing Facility that stood vacant for a number of years. Some of the existing buildings were demolished while others were reconstructed and rehabilitated. The most important consideration was that this project act as a catalyst to spur further redevelopment, revitalizing an inner city neighborhood.
