LEED® Consulting Services

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings, developed by the United States Green Building Council. LEED provides owners and operators the tools and information they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on the performance of the buildings in their portfolio.

IMC provides comprehensive consulting services for all of the LEED project categories which include: New Construction (NC), Core and Shell (CS), Commercial Interiors (CI), and Existing Buildings (EB). The foundation of our services is eco-charrettes and creates an Integrated Design Process (IDP) that integrates well-proven approaches into a systematic, comprehensive process.

    • Early stage sustainable feasibility studies, assessments and recommendations
    • Facilitate and lead initial LEED goal setting session
    • Design and construction team integration, coordination, documentation, and process management
    • Provide sample documents, templates and resources to LEED team

    • Share resources and case studies from leading edge technologies and strategies
  • Financial
    • Identify and help owner secure funding and grant opportunities for Green Projects
    • Assist in sourcing the most cost-competitive and reputable broker for Green Power
    • LEED cost estimates for budgeting energy modeling, daylight modeling and commissioning fees. Referral to specialists’ available if requested
  • LEED Certification Management
    • USGBC project registration
    • Online project setup with ongoing management including assigning roles and responsibilities to team members and providing the necessary templates and resources
    • LEED scorecard preparation and team status reports
    • Electronic team workbooks
    • Complete management of LEED certification submittals including:
      • Two-phase process of design and construction submittals
      • Technical compliance review of team submittals prior to presenting documents to the USGBC for certification
    • Supply current Errata to team members
    • Direct team members to applicable CIRs (Credit Interpretation Rulings) relevant to the project
    • Review and guide architect with the preparation of MasterSpec for LEED required documentation
    • Preparation of your project’s LEED case study or LEED Executive Summary
    • Provide comprehensive LEED Project Management Toolkit for the General Contractor, including sample IAQ plans, Construction Waste Management Plans amongst other electronic templates to simplify the LEED paperwork
