Drexeline Town Center
The redevelopment of Drexeline Town Center included the abatement
and complete demolition of four buildings and partial demolition of one building, to leave the remainder of the building standing and to allow PNC to remain in operation while performing all work around it. All work was performed to re-develop the site to accommodate a new Wawa; a reconfigured and renovated PNC Bank; new ShopRite; 14,000 SF of a retail strip building; a new Chase Bank, and a future Medical Office Building.
IMC’s scope included all re-grading, backfill/compaction, utilities, concrete curbing and sidewalks, asphalt paving, etc., to create pad sites for Wawa, ShopRite and Chase. The work was multi-phased to allow PNC and ShopRite to remain in operation without affecting access to their buildings or impacting their daily operations.
Additionally, we performed extensive HOP work to widen roads, add turning lanes, improve access to the shopping center and, install new and modify existing traffic signals.
