IMC Construction to Lead Development of Marriott Residence Inn at CRISP in Wilmington, DE

IMC Construction is proud to serve as the general contractor for the highly anticipated Marriott Residence Inn at the Chestnut Run Innovation & Science Park (CRISP) in Wilmington, Delaware. This exciting new project, developed in partnership with MRA Group and Gulf Creek Hotels, is set to break ground in early February as part of the ongoing transformation of the 164-acre, 1.3 million-square-foot innovation campus.

The Residence Inn will feature 127 guest rooms, offering both short- and long-term lodging options. The facility will include a full-service bar, meeting spaces, food services, and outdoor patio areas designed to cater to both campus tenants and the broader Wilmington community. This hotel will also be the first built in the area in nearly three years, filling a key gap in local market demand and providing valuable accommodations for both business and non-business travelers.

The new hotel will complement the campus’s existing amenities, which include childcare and fitness centers, a bank, restaurant, and outdoor recreation spaces. On-site lodging will provide tenants with a seamless experience, allowing them to work, stay, and collaborate within the same integrated business environment.
