IMC Construction Recognized as “Best of 2023” by Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal (MAREJ)
IMC Construction is pleased to announce that we have been recognized by Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal (MAREJ) as “Best of 2023” for four of our projects. We’re immensely proud of our dedicated teams whose hard work and commitment have made this recognition possible.
Largest Medical Property: Good Shepherd Rehab Hospital. This ground-up inpatient hospital serves those recovering from complex and catastrophic conditions. The ground floor features an information center for new rehab technology, a pharmacy, and a café. The upper floors contain private rooms, diagnostic space, and a multistory gym.
Largest New Project Groundbreaking: Bridgeport II. Intended as a high-capacity storage and distribution center situated on a large 60-acre site, Bridgeport II is strategically located within proximity of I-95 and the Outerbridge Crossing to Staten Island, NY. On the banks of the Arthur Kill, the project is situated on a former Act 2 site and involved heavy site cleanup and ground improvements. Inclusive of two standalone buildings, the project will boast over 1M square feet of usable space.
Largest New Project Groundbreaking: Solenis Building at CRISP. Part of the overall redevelopment of the Chestnut Run Innovation and Science Park, the global headquarters of DuPont, this project includes the core and shell renovation of Building 713 along with tenant improvements. The building will be a consolidation of the tenants existing facilities to one central location. The building will house 21 different user groups, and a dedicated pilot plant. Overall, the building will be 80% for lab use and 20% will be devoted to office space.
Best Industrial Project: Crown 95 Logistics Center. Crown 95 Logistics is a new, 640,000 SF modern Class A distribution center strategically positioned to serve both the Philadelphia metropolitan area and the Eastern I-95 Corridor. The project includes 36’ clear ceiling heights in approximately 300,000 SF. Other notable project features include 3.5 acres of secured off-street trailer, van, and car parking and prominent branding opportunities on highly trafficked Erie Avenue as well as a lofty position to the general surrounding area via a historic water tower. Formerly the location of Philadelphia powerhouse manufacturing firms Progress Lighting and Crown Cork and Seal, the area is a historically proven home to corporate occupiers of the Philadelphia region, a direct correlation to the robust location and workforce. The area is also a growing hotspot for distribution and fulfillment with three Amazon locations and a Fresh Direct distribution center in under 1.5 miles.
