IMC Construction is delivering Phase 1B of The Crossings at Brick Church Station, a transformative mixed-use transit-oriented development in East Orange, New Jersey. Developed by Triangle Equities, the nine-story building represents the next phase of a landmark redevelopment designed to leverage the region's transportation infrastructure and drive sustainable economic growth.

The development will include 420 residential apartments alongside 86,161 square feet of retail and restaurant space and 26,621 square feet of office and medical space. Strategically located adjacent to the NJ Transit Brick Church Station, the project provides residents and visitors with convenient access to regional transit, including a direct commute to Midtown Manhattan and Newark's major employment centers.

Designed to support housing diversity and community growth, the project includes 84 affordable housing units and 63 workforce housing units. The development also features 342 parking spaces and extensive site remediation efforts, including the installation of a concrete cap system that creates a protective barrier between the new structures and existing below-grade environmental conditions.

The project has qualified for NJ Aspire tax credits and represents a significant public-private investment in the continued revitalization of East Orange. Beyond construction, the development emphasizes economic inclusion through partnerships with the NJEDA, HUD, and the City of East Orange, creating opportunities for minority-, women-, and small business-owned enterprises (MWSBE), local businesses, and resident workforce participation.

Upon completion, The Crossings at Brick Church Station Phase 1B will provide new housing, retail, office, and healthcare-related commercial space while strengthening transit-oriented development and expanding economic opportunities within the community.
