IMC’s Innovative Approach to Project Challenges
This project required speed to market unlike any other. Designing and building a 300,000-sf building with a 420-car parking garage in 12 months is a significant challenge.
The entire project team was committed to a 12-month completion. IMC and the architect prioritized the release of critical design packages for procurement and fabrication. BIM technology was leveraged to coordinate shop drawings and prefabricated assemblies.
Technology aided speed to market, but an added dividend was the building team. Executives and end-users with the authority to make decisions attended weekly construction meetings. The high-level commitment dramatically accelerated progress.
